We’re proud to inform you that we are working with Soarway Foundation and International Development Institute to support Explore Himalayas: Wounded Heroes Trek to Nepal in September 2016.
This project to encourage “Tourism for All” as well as our overall program as Soarway. The Wounded Heroes Trek is tied to the UN Year of Accessible Tourism and the first group, which will trek inSeptember, will do an event in Nepal on World Tourism day to highlight the options for people with disabilities and, we hope, inspire the 500,000 Nepalis with physical challenges who we seek to empower and engage.
Some of our participants have inspired people around the globe. The team consists of 19 members including a medical doctor, occupational therapist, registered nurse and a prosthetists. These men and women will go upto Kanchanjunga Base Camp on their prosthetic legs. It will be a beginning of making a statement to tie accessible tourism with reconstructing Nepal. The project will be followed by building a Mobility Resource Center for people with various physical disabilities in Nepal in collaboration with renowned American colleges and medical centers.
In order to support these participants, Ambassador (Ret.) Scott DeLisi and Soarway Foundation has invited world renowned musical group Sur Sudha for a US Tour.
BHINTUNA INTERNATIONAL has put its effort to support Soarway Foundation to reach their goals. We have decided to donate part of our proceeds from our upcoming show: SUMMER MUSICAL SANJH. and also to help Soarway and IDI to manage SUR SUDHA-Empower Nepal Tour 2016 in DC/VA and Baltimore.
They will be performing in Springfield VA on August 19, Washington, DC on August 20 and Baltimore on August 21. We request you to support Empower Nepal Tour 2016 by attending amazing upcoming musical event.
