Bijaya was found abandoned at Chundevi Temple.  She was approximately 14 days old at the time.  No parents or guardians were found despite police search, newspaper notices and other inquiries.  Bijaya was one of the lucky ones.  She was brought to Sagarmatha Childrens Home which has been the only true home she has ever know.
Now ten years old, Bijaya is active and lively and engaged like any little girl should be.  She is said to be “talkative” and “sociable”.  Great words to describe a ten year old ball of energy who loves to sing and dance and who, thanks to SCH’s support, is studying in class 4 with other boys and girls.
